Lifestyle: Healthy lifestyle

Hello bella's!

So here goes, in August 2013 I was suffering with bloating and really bad stomach cramps and pains but thought nothing of it for a while.. Untill I started my job at cube it got worse. I went to the doctors to be referred to the hospital to be checked over. So after nearly 2 years it came down to one thing.. (IBS), you may ask what IBS is? Well it's  Irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) its a common, long-term condition of the digestive system. It can cause bouts of stomach cramps, bloating, tummy upsets. But after all the pills and pain nothing ever worked and not even the doctor could give me advice on what to do as there is no cure.

I decided to do something about it, I couldn't deal with how I was feeling with Ibs, fatigue, no energy, and to be honest it made me miserable. So it was time for change, I wanted to feel my real self again so I've decided to go down the route of raw foods, no preservatives, gluten free. And doing this has stopped me being bored and food deprived, there's nothing wrong with eating organic as it will bring out the good in life, a better you. We all know how much food is a number one priority source for are bodys but it's time to make a change and eating healthy is the best nourishment.

Daily menu would consist of:

Spinach, chai seed, organic peanut butter, cup of water, flaxseed, 1 banana and frozen berries and blended to make a smoothie

Lunch:

Tuna, tamatoes, spinach, side of organic hummus made up from chick peas, lemon juice, tahini, water and  garlic all blended into a smooth consistency.

Dinner:

Pasta, organic pesto made up of lemon, basil and pine nuts all witch are blended into a smooth paste and adding spinach, tamatoes and peppers or I would have an aubergine curry with cous cous.

Snacks: healthy Nutella  (made up of organic cocoa, hazelnuts and organic maple syrup), grapes, hummus with veg sticks (any one of these)

Want to know my recipes!?.. Let me know and I will write them up :)

Beauty: Contour and Highlight

Hello guys! hope your all having a good day. So we all know what contour and highlight is but for those who don't it is a way of defining your facial features such as making your cheeks more defined and stand out or if its giving yourself smaller features!. This is the wonder of make up.. There is no need for surgery when you can give yourself definition with make up itself.
A good example of someone who contours and highlights on a regular basis is Kim Kardashian giving herself definition in her cheek bones and making her face look more slimmer and defined.

I have used allot of products over the years for contouring such as Mac Sculpt and Mac soft and gentle highlight, prep and prime highlight. But i needed something a little cheaper as i was spending far to much money to getting the perfect contour. Then i came across Sleek face contour kit!.. Well... What an amazing product especially for under 10 pounds!.
In the product you will get your sculpting powder that will range in different colours from fair to dark, you will have your High light and your blusher powder.

The best way of contouring is
firstly taking your sculpting powder, Sucking your cheeks in that will create two shadowed lines and blending the product into the hallows of your cheeks to define your cheek bones then going over it again if need be.

next step
is taking your buffing brush swirling it round the blusher and tapping of the excess and sweeping it onto the apples of your cheeks to add colour to your complexion.

lastly
and most importantly highlight the tops of your cheekbones to give you that summer glow! and wall ah! what an amazing result.

So why not try sleek and get that beautiful Hollywood star contour in the comfort of your own home! :).

Lifestyle: Vlogging

Hello Guys!,
So I have been wondering where i can start with my blog as I'm all new to this blogging world and its so exciting. Its time to be creative and be able to connect with you guys and give you my honest opinions on latest trends, Cosmetics and general places which are nice to visit such as restaurants, bars. So i thought the best option to connect with you all not only by blogger and social media but to start vlogging and I have no idea where to start. I think for the next couple of weeks ill be just doing basic make up tutorials and hopefully come out of my comfort zone and let my personality shine through.. As we all know ill be a little (allot) camera shy! but who isn't ?, Its pretty scary at first ha ha.

It would be a massive help if any of you Vloggers would give me a helping hand of advice of how to be confident in front of the camera and maybe what sort of videos the audience are loving at the moment?,
I know my favourite is definitely Make up vlogs! I will literally sit there most nights on my sofa with my fur blanket and a brew, trying to pick on the latest make up tips!.

But honestly guys.. If anyone wants to get in touch with me for any videos they would like me to do such as beauty, fashion hauls please get in touch! and advice would be nice to :)!

Lifestyle: Social Media/ Digital Marketing Experience

So let’s start from the beginning. I studied a Media Production diploma at Oldham College and after the 2 years were up it seemed the only option was to go to university, but I knew that this wasn’t the route I wanted to take. After a very long search I saw a vacancy for Social Media/Digital marketing role. What wasn’t to love.. a job that involved Facebook and Twitter! After I made it through to bootcamp, I got my head down and focused on how to make myself stand out from the crowd. I studied everything I could about social media, learnt about the companies that will be there, researched hot topics in the field and focused on my presentation. Although the first day was nerve wracking, the warmth and the friendliness of the other colleagues made me feel welcome. During the first month I got myself settled in and researched ‘’what Cube3 is really about.” I also got to manage my first ever event, ‘’Caketober’’ which involved baking my own cake, organising the event, making posters and leaflets for everyone at Cube 3 and creating a social media schedule to support the activity. Overall it was a success, raising over £60 for Forever Manchester, although as a team we also put on a few pounds in weight. I have learnt a lot about the industry during my time there and the past 8 months had flown by. I have developed my skills in both customer service, admin, social media and marketing. I love finding social media content for both The Rock and Revolution bars, being up to date with social networking and finding the next big thing on Social Media. It’s all about finding content that connects with your audience and to do that, you really need to know your audience well. I also got the chance to be able to work with fantastic communications people such as Sarah and Clair. It was a great on going experience and I am overwhelmed that they gave me the opportunity to work with them. Every week I had to go to training days at the Juice Academy where I am able to bring to Cube valuable information that I have learnt and also to keep up to date with new social media knowledge. Another note to add is that it’s great to do something different everyday. There was always something new to do at Cube, new content, new blogs, new clients, it never got boring! This could be the start of a very exciting journey and i'm grateful I got the opportunity to work at Cube 3.
