How To Transition From Summer To Winter Skincare

As the dark evenings begin to draw in and the mornings become increasingly colder, we
know it is officially time to call it winter. After months of enjoying the sunshine and giving
our skin that added boost of vitamin D, it is finally time to up our skincare regime and start
replenishing skin with nourishing ingredients that can help to avoid dry, cracked skin.

So to help you transition your skincare regime from summer to winter, we have compiled
together our top tips to help keep skin replenished and protected for those cold mornings.

Read on to find out more....

Invest In A Nourishing Moisturiser
One of the most common issues that people have during the winter months is dry,
cracked skin. This is due to the brisk chill in the air that causes skin to dry out and
become much more vulnerable to cracking. Try investing in a nourishing and replenishing
moisturiser that can help seal and protect skin away from the cold weather. Make sure
you are applying moisturiser every day in order to shield skin.

Protect Your Hands

Apart from our face, our hands are probably the most exposed part of our body during the
winter months. As we usually cover the rest of our body with plenty of layers, our hands
are vulnerable to drying and cracking a lot easier than other parts of our body. The skin
on your hands is also thinner than on most parts of the body and has fewer oil glands,
therefore it's harder to keep your hands moist, especially in cold, dry weather.
Make sure you are moisturising hands with a nourishing hand cream and try to wear gloves
whenever you venture outside. Try investing in a good pair of hand gloves and leave
them on for at least an hour with your favourite hand cream!

Avoid Hot Baths

After a long wait on a freezing cold bus stop, many of us can't wait to run a boiling hot
bath and immerse ourselves in the warm water for hours. However, this can actually lead
to breaking down the lipid barriers in the skin, which can lead to a loss of moisture.

Use A Soft Scrub

On dry, flaky skin, try using a gentle exfoliater to help remove any rough patches. This
can help to smooth skin, but will also not cause any irritation. For those looking for a
homemade scrub, try adding salt with honey for a gentle scrub on skin.
For those working in the beauty industry, make sure you check out Diamond Designs
Uniforms. They have plenty beauty tunic styles perfect for your salon so that you can look
the part whilst helping your clients look their best.

Sun sea and pina coladas!

Hey guys,

Your probably wondering where I have disappeared to these past few months.
Social Media and blogging became to overwhelming for me that  I took a little breather for a while.
Everything came all at once.. Interviews, new job ..  holidays to plan for . I took the time to get my head sorted and focus on reality.
But I'm back.. All refreshed and ready to post more blog posts for you all.
I spent a lovely 3 weeks in Cyprus  where me and my partner got a rental car to have the freedom of going to and from our villa in the  village of Frenaros 10 minutes away from one of the biggest tourist attractions Ayia Napa.
Cyprus this year was a little more of a relaxation holiday so we had no plans to go on excursions as we needed the time to focus on our plans and getting away from everything for a short while.
I would highly recommend sage restaurant in Ayia Napa. A luxurious high end a la carte that's serves a mixture of Mediterranean and English food. I would also recommend Grecian sands hotel situated just outside of Ayia Napa with a lovely beach and plenty of facilities to accommodate all ages.
My 3 weeks went so quick and theres not much to say other than it was a such a great time to get all refreshed and ready for a new start.

I am now enjoying going back to college and becoming a fully qualified Accountant.
But that's something ill post about in my next blog post for you all.

Speak soon fellow bloggers! make sure you catch me on social media ! :)

Instant Look Palette

                                                                            Hey guys!

So recently i purchased yet again another product from Charlotte tilburys new range! .. i just had to get my hands on the new instant look palette.

My first impressions of the product itself.. I thought it was beautifully designed, the colours are shimmery yet glowy for a more youthful everyday natural look. and you can even add the deeper tones to create a more enhanced date night look.

There are 3 eye shadows, 2 blusher shades a pop shade for the apples of your cheeks and the swish shade for all over your cheek to give yourself that natural flush look. it also has her Hollywood contour kit both the bronzer and spectacular shimmer glow champagne highlighter to add the perfect sheen to your complexion.

for £49 can you really go wrong?..
No not really, its a palette for every woman's needs for your beauty kit for a day or evening look. Theres no more stress or worry trying to arrange all your products for that day when you have all you need in simple but beautifully compact palette.

You just have to buy it yourself to know exactly what I'm talking about.. its defiantly one of my favourite products at the moment! and i will be sure to take it away abroad with me to.

If anyone gets to purchase this.. comment below with your thoughts, i would love to hear.
